Soundtrack Oracle Game
So here's my deal: I did the soundtrack oracle thing, and I uploaded all the songs in a zip file. BUT I un-labeled all the songs so you have to guess what the songs are. (Try not to cheat!) For every track you guess right, you can request a song from my playlist (~3500 songs). (Songs with an asterisk by them are foreign language songs, so you get a bonus song. Exceptions: "Working out at the gym" doesn't get bonus points because I've seen that on MTV and "Sex" gets two because it's really random.) *Opening Credits: ? Birth: ? *Waking Up: ? Working Song: ? Falling in Love: ? **Sex: ? Lusting: ? Cooking Dinner: ? Walk in the Park: ? Working out at the gym: ? Fight Scene: ? Breaking Up ? Secret Love: ? *Life's Okay: ? Mental Breakdown: ? *Partying: ? Final Battle: ? *Death Scene: ? Funeral: ? Closing Credits: ? |

Why do some people have to be such assholes? How the hell was I supposed to know the garage door was open? Should I have been neurotically going outside to check? Jackass. Current Mood: aggravated |

Was looking for the music to the Hitman TV spot 2 and found "Lux Aeterna" from Requiem for a Dream instead. There's something totally awesome about following up "Lux Aeterna" with Nouvelle Vague's cover of "Ever Fallen in Love"... |

Some Nouvelle Vague - They do bossa nova covers of old new wave/punk songs, but I think they sound a bit like indie pop and Fiona Apple. |

Looking for some Bong Penera. I have the album Batucada Sa Kalesa, but anything else would be greatly appreciated. I trade if you like. I have way too much music to list, so just let me know what you want. |

as far as i can tell the songs are pretty good but then you know i'm not that great of a music critic i basically take anything shoved in front of me and more...the problem with the songs is that i can't figure out a word the girl is saying. the music sorta drowns her out but it all sounds cool...i guess... |
| 11:17 pm |
*sigh* ain't as good as i hoped...there were a few words in the beginning but the rest was all music..i usually don't like instrumentals but this one was pretty good (the only other instrumental i like is rob d from the matrix soundtrack...it's a good thing timothy let me hear it! that marilyn manson song "rock is dead" is the bomb! seriously! i love that song) well, probably because i want so bad to be able to hear fantasy and music together i'm gonna dl all the songs that are available and hope that some of them have words... |

you know why i don't believe in any god(s)? i don't want to believe anyone can be that cruel. life sucks. i'm beginning to seriously think i have some sort of depression problem. like no duh? ah well i don't know how like i can go like this. i get really upset and i start crying then i calm down and tell myself i have to stop spending time contemplating stuff and life and stuff and daydreaming. i try for about two seconds then i give up and feel bad again until i find something to occupy my time. i should work on stuff because that would be 1. good for me get some hw done i have several projects and i really need to study my chinese getting a C probably (A in everything else) and 2. it keeps my mind off of depressing thoughts. but i'm just too damn lazy to work. don't know why i was born with such a SCREWED (my favorite word for a while)personality...sigh...almost done w/ the point for ares song... |

ok haven't updated in a long time but i really need to write down some stuff...had a REALLY crappy day at first...i discovered that for me music is just an empty addiction. i thought maybe it was something special but sigh...as Point of Ares says "Music is brandy for the damned." (i'll get to just who exactly Point of Ares is later)that's soo true for me. ok so this morning i'm listening to a cd i'd burned last night and i was listening to live "they stood up for love" (really cool song) and i was just thinking how there were probably only 3 things that could ever make me really truly happy. good song, hockey game (for the moment) and a really good book. well later on in the day i'm listening to that same song and i realize that it can't make me smile. in fact i realized i didn't really give a shit about the song. thing is, i couldn't turn it off either. it's weird for me not to listen to music but listening to music wasn't something i wanted to do either. what am i going to do? it's very troubling to have something that important and stable thrown out the window. i thought that maybe music was different and it wasn't a passing obession. it isn't. it's an addiction. wonderful. anyways i'm watching the 10th kingdom WAY TOOOOOOOO COOL!!!!! and it set me up in a better mood (that and a nap) i love the werewolf guy! him and the prince/dog what a cute golden retriever! anyways i'm online and this fantasy review nl is sent to my e-mail. they talk about the 10th kingdom (critic didn't seem to enchanted with it but well you know critics...) anyways this person also did a review on this band Point of Ares! they're a rock band that sings about fantasy!! way too cool huh? :) they've got on CD about Apollo (they do a lot on greek myths apparently) but they've got another CD enemy glory based on the singer's upcoming book! obviously i couldn't find anyone who's got their cd on mp3 but that's ok. they have samples on their website! :) i can't wait to hear! dl it right now! |

"alice is too smart for her own good." hehehe i like that quote! it's probably true. i dont' have much of a work ethic mainly because i dont' need one...i'm a very good last minute cram sort of person. and it's killing me now that i have chinese. you cannot cram for chinese let me tell you that. stupid characters. i'm gonna switch to spanish much easier. i can get that down at least. i'm always better with oral parts of a language :) |

ehehehe :) this is such a funny quote "body slammed by steve shields" lol! worrell had gotten the better of both harvey and stern (only because he's so BIG)in two fights and he gets body slammed by the goalie! heheh that's such a cool way of putting it :) shields did end up on top of the guy though. (and he was trying to make a save too! lol) |

i'm feeling really bad now that the all star game is over...partly because that means tomorrow is monday. that means i have to deal with the meeting w/ my counselor and bio teacher. great. i'm hopeful that taking off my glasses will help but uhhh i still feel like throwing up. wonderful huh? |
| 4:07 pm |
i wonder why modano chose #27 for his all star jersey (kariya took 9) i mean you'd think that he'd have some bad memories of that # (it IS marchment's # and if you know who modano you get my point) i've also always wondered why hockey players will spit out onto the ice. it just doesn't make sense. i mean what if you're playing along the bench and some guy upturns you and you get your face slammed into the ice? that'd be a little nasty since the players spit around that area and everything....i wonder if they care or if they just haven't thought of it...you'd think that in the century people have played hockey SOMEONE would've noticed... |

sorry i haven't updated but i don't think i can put myself in two things at once. right now i'm in a support group for social phobes like me. they're really nice and helpful and everything. at first i was feeling bad because i was constantly thinking about my problems (i usually just ignore them) some guy (i think i talked to him a couple of times about a year ago or something) just IMed me :P asked some really weird question...anyways i was just going to say that i probably won't be updating much at all sorry but oh well. i can't deal with putting my life on two things it's just too much. PS: the all star weekend was GREAT! i laughed way too much. that little film they showed before and after the game - HILARIOUS! they meant for it to be serious but it was just too funny for me! the skills competion was fun ;) macinnis won again! :) duh! this time he got 100.1 beat leclair by .1 hehehee that was funny :) he could've taken a harder shot the second time but ah well it was just a really cool weekend and with the winter x games everything was just too happy :) which is probably why monday's gonna be hell!! last time i talked to my counselor i almost cried. this time i have to talk to my counselor AND my bio teacher. wonderful. anyways the peeps on the socialphobia list helped me out. i'm gonna take off my glasses (pretend i'm wearing contacts)and that way i won't be able to see their faces. a couple of people on the list said it helped them feel less phobic so i'll try that :) hopefully it works! |
